Bandar Lampung is a city which has become the center of the trade and economy in Lampung Province. As a city that has a high enough growing population, economy, and people's purchasing power, the needs of society in there grow,not just physical, but also spiritual. Primary needs can be met by introducing a general shopping center, while the requirement to meet the psychological needs a shopping center that are recreational. Therefore, Bandar Lampung Resort Mall is the right answer to solve the problem. The purpose of this project is to design a shopping center that not only meets the needs of everyday life, but also can provide freshness soul for the costumers. In this case, the environment in Bandar Lampung has its own problems. Dense urban environment cause the surrounding communities saturated with vehicle density, city lights and the scorching weather. These conditions do not support the community to be able to obtain the necessary mental freshness by the community. The strategy is to create a different atmosphere from people's daily activities. In this case, the atmosphere is taken an analogy of beach resort. Beach resort is taken based on the analysis of site conditions in Bandar Lampung of which wheather is tropical and its location is in the coastal area. This project was designed by creating spaces that provide different experiences of space in order to attract visitors and bring a new ambience.
