| Summary: | Badminton is a sports game favored by Indonesian society. Currently there are many sports centers and badminton clubs established in several places in Indonesia, both in cities and village areas. However, professional Badminton clubs/schools that produces accomplished athletes are still lacking, especially in Bandung. With the construction of Badminton School in Bandung, hopefully it could accommodate Badminton activities and increase the society’s interests and achievements in Badminton. Badminton School in Bandung is a center for Badminton education and training that will be constructed in East Bandung area. This school provides several facilities that accommodates the needs of Badminton training. In the design of this school, there are several design issues, which are circulation, wide-span structure, and ventilation. Those issues resulted the concept of zonation and bulding mass, how to design the exterior space of the building, and the use of bulding material for structure and other building components. |
