Mosque is a building that has meaning sajada or sujud and worship Him. At the time of the Prophet Muhammad, the mosque is not just a place for praying, but also play a variety of roles and broad functionality in the coaching community, as well as in mosques located in Cibinong Science Center, LIPI. The project redesign of the existing mosque CSC-LIPI into Masjid Al-Muzdahir CSC-LIPI has a variety of roles and functions to meet the support needs of the environment within and around the area. The building consists of three major zones are united by a common room and a tower. Zones endwise with the zone of mosque, RSG and managers. The issue focuses on the peculiarities of the project location is an area of science and life science research. With land situated in front of the gates of CSC-LIPI, it is expected that the project has a specific building as the face of the CSC-LIPI itself. With the concept of contemporary mosque which gives a feel of the spiritual through the botanical richness, the mosque as a whole may reflect a spiritual progress and provide direct experience about life science. The building is designed appropriate with the use of various plants, for the examples, in the mihrab wall using a propagation of flower water plant, and the use of vines on the whole facade of the main building. Islamic architecture of the building is expected to show evidence of the greatness of Allah in harmony, balance and beauty in design.
