One of the adjustments is the appearance of many “new” diseases, especially respiratory disease such as H1N1, H5N1, Tuberculosis, etc. Unfortunately, the majority of Indonesian Hospitals still have difficulties in taking care of the diseaseas. The Planning of Purbalingga Respiratory Hospital tries to answer challenge that mentioned above. With total area of 12,398 m2, this hospital has 105 beds to take care patients ,not only with respiratory case history but also could treat other kinds of disease too. As respiratory disease has special care towards contamination, the hospital was divided into zones separating infectious zone and non-infectious one to avoid contamination between users in hospital. Due to those circumstances, circulation is also an important thing to be designed. The circulation cannot be complicated for the user to use. Interior designing also should not be taken lightly to make user feel better and happy. Natural ventilation and lighting along with open spaces become some factors that could fasten patients’ recovery. text |
