Description
Summary:Post-rift interval is potential of reservoir rock that was formed in Sumatra including Central Sumatra Basin. The study area is part of southern end of South Aman Subbasin which have the form half-graben with NW-SE oriented border fault. Geographically this area is located about 50 km northwest of Pekanbaru, Riau Province. The purpose of this research is to determine tectonostratigraphy and prospect of hydrocarbon traps that is expected to be at the post-rift interval. The data used in this study are wireline log from one well, two 2D seismic data, and one 3D seismic data. This research method begins with well-seismic tie. Seismic data is also used to interpret tectonostratigraphy and the form of subsurface structures. Subsequently analyze petroleum system and identify prospects at study area. There are three package of tectonostratigraphy in this study area i.e. pre-rift, synrift, dan post-rift. Based on the result of interpretation of wireline log data there are three reservoir intervals namely Telisa A, Telisa B, and Bekasap A. Structures found in the study area are dominated of reverse faults and anticline folds whice are thought to be hydrocarbon traps (prospects). There are six prospects that have different risk values and later affect the hydrocarbon resource volume estimation. There is a ranking of prospects with the volume from highest to lowest based on risk values.
