The research area is located on Brang Rea, West Sumbawa Regency with coordinate 8o41’49,51” S - 8o47’14,91” S and 116o54’47,04” E - 116o57’30,83” E. This area consist of four geomorpholigical unit, which is Pyroclastic Slope Unit, Volcanic Ridge Unit, Karst Hills Unit, and Allivial Unit. The stratigraphy in this research area is divided into six unit, namely from the oldest to the youngest Andesite Lava Unit, Tuf Unit, Diorite Intrusion Unit, Dacite Intrusion Unit, Limestone Unit, and aluvial unit. The unis shows age Miocene to Recent. Geological structure in this area is strike-slip fault, formed from deformation in the Late Miocene. text |
