Bandung School Of CInematography is a building with the fuction of higher education. This project basicly was a fiction project, and located in Gedebage, Bandung. The location of the site is based on a real life project by Bandung City Government, which contain in the masterplan of Regional Development Plan of Gedebage. In this project, author assumpt that the area around the site were already built and there are further development that can be done. The purpose of this project are to provide an education facilities in the form of a school which oriented in the field of cinematography or film. That purpose were established with the help of supervisor. In this project, the curriculum of Fakultas Film dan Televisi Institut Teknologi Jakarta (FFTV IKJ) were used as a reference in the arranging of curriculum at Bandung School Of Cinematography. This school offers a diploma and scholar degree and consist of one department, which is Film and Television Department. Within that department, there are sub department that the student will be able to choose and the second year of the study. Big idea of designing this building is to create a communicative space which trigger the user freedom of expression, and can improve creativity through social interaction. In addition to that, the place also can trigger the user to communicate with each other. The space that created will likely to be transparant and flexible, function will be easily to change, and furthermore the atmosphere are made to help the process of filming so that it can simplify the process of studying.
