As a boarding school, the campus facilities Insan Cendekia Pekalongan Islamic Boarding School has the important role achieving character building and international class education. Consequently, boarding facility should be well-designed, particularly for the designs related to the special characters and behavior of the students and teachers. This Insan Cendekia Pekalongan Islamic Boarding School is located at Samirejo Street, Banyu Urip village, South Pekalongan, with area ± 5.9 Ha. These project scopes are the campus design, public facilities, sport centre, and boarding facility design. In order to achieve the design objections, issues, and the main problem of design are with these methods, such as land use, curculation, user’s behavior, and image. The concept implemented on design are single-loaded building and the use of sun-shading (for image), pedestrian-oriented (for circulation), social behavior (for behavior) and zoning (for land use), with the main concepts are “ Interractive space and walkability “.
