X Ivana , Grace Fisika Indonesia Final Project Power, Double flash, HYSYS, Optimization, Geothermal, Modeling, PLTP, Turbine INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/32887 The population of Indonesia every year has increased which causes the need for electrical energy also increases. Indonesia is estimated to have geothermal content of 40% of the world's geothermal heat. Geothermal energy is the heat energy that is generated and stored in the earth's core and is a source of renewable energy. In this Final Project, thermal analysis will be done on PLTP company PT X by double flash method. The initial data obtained will be modeled using the Aspen HYSYS V10 software. From the modeling conducted, it can be obtained to optimize the value of power on pressure for several geothermal power plant units. In this final project, the writer also compare the power output of the design of geothermal power plants using the double flash method with theoretical power output in high pressure turbine and low pressure turbine. The results of modeling geothermal power plants from initial data used are shown in Figure IV.1. The power output from the design of geothermal power plants using the double flash method in the high pressure turbine and low pressure turbine sequentially is 21704.3 kW and 19903.4 kW and theoretical power output using the double flash method in high pressure turbine and low pressure turbine sequentially is 54921.3 kW and 19800.9 kW. Pressure on some devices to obtain optimum total power in both turbines with the double flash method is shown in the Table in Appendix B (given yellow highlights) text |
