The health services world have developed rapidly since the Industrial Revolution began, one example of the development that the application is still aplied is the concept where medical services not only provide medical services it self, but also to provide facilities to support the growth of hope, positive suggestion, optimism and strong confidence for the patients. These concepts are very necessary to be applied to the Maternity Hospital, because basically pregnant woman is one that really need support because of her unstable emotion during pregnancy, childbirth and the post partum period This hospital is the C grade hospital and it is a private property. Bandung is selected as the project site because of the level of maternal and infant mortality and maternal depression were quite high. Maternity Hospital C class is designed as high as 4 floors in an area which covers 0.8 ha. Services in it include gynecological and obstetric care, perinatal and child care, as well as other support services. Maternity hospital is designed using several criteria to solve design problems in it, including circulatory problems, noise, safety, security, etc. This problem is solved by healing and caring environment concept to achive the purpose of creating an atmosphere that is capable of increasing the hope and positive support. The concept of healing and caring is applied through the design by using soft colors that is in line with the character of the mother, the natural elements, textures,positive distraction, etc.
