One of them is this city is a place where the zoo was first made. Surabaya Zoo (KBS) is a place of educational tours in the field of zoology in the middle of the urban area of Surabaya city which became a public recreation until now. But this time KBS has decreased the quality of the tourist attractions because of poor management. Therefore, the government planning the revitalization of Surabaya zoo in order to prevail as of yore. Natural History Museum is a building that can support the revitalization of KBS where the museum can integrate transparently with the zoo as a complementary tourist facilities. Land area of 3.5 ha is provided for use in the exhibit objects of natural history berfokusnya on nature and human culture. This museum aims to educate people about the natural history, including the dinosaurs; zoology; and anthropology so that the public can know about the evolution of knowledge, environmental issues, biodiversity and also coupled with a history of human settlement in Surabaya. The museum was designed with the concept of a walk through history are packed in a building on the theme of modernity in nature where the building is modern poker and can accommodate the needs of visitors will exhibit natural history with the flow of fascinatingexhibits. text |
