Four Star Business Hotel in Bendungan Hilir Area, Jakarta, has a vigorous urban character, amongst high rise offices, near from Bendungan Hilir MRT station development and alongside Krukut River promenade as its public space. Due to the context, hotel user target come from business circle, who live either within the area or outside the city. Business people are expected to tackle their business activities whether in formal, informal, privat, or public area. The site is a part of mixed use development of retails and office in a consolidated block, so circulation plan, ambience attractiveness, and visual harmonization are required to achieve optimal operation phase. With binding site regulation in urban area as the design approach, hotel is built with 24 storey height, 4 basements, and total area 10200 m2. As a commodity that developed by WIKA Realty, the built area must be as efficient as it can be, without ignoring the issues regarding to quality of space, such as lack of interaction between building users in urban area and nature. With its potentials and problems, which might refered to urban area issues, four star business hotel typology, business hotel trend, and earthquake threat towards high rise building, this hotel is expected to be a business catalyst by raising interconnectivity and biophilia design. Other than that, functionally to have visual attractiveness and structural seismic design.
