Summary: | Temali Media is startup-phase media that takes personal development as its main
theme. One of company’s problem was difficult to find proper business model that
will generate financial sustainability. This study aims to gain insight for rebuilding
business model of Temali that is going to gain recurring revenue by evaluating
Temali’s practices. Researcher conducted customer analysis, internal analysis, and
external analysis by using business model assessment, business model environment
assessment, and SWOT Analysis. The implementation of strategy as business
solution is extracted from SWOT analysis findings by using TOWS Matrix,
simplified by Four Actions Framework, then shaped using Business Model Canvas.
According to SWOT analysis, Temali’s presence as personal development media and
event organizer is strong enough in existing’s customers’ mind. Temali also is being
advantaged by partnering with Eduplex as place provider for activity and several
Talents Mapping Practitioners. But most customers perceive that Temali does not
offer something new about personal development. However, there are opportunities
that people wants to know their self-potential but in affordable price and also talents’
compatibility technology that has been developed by LeadPro Consulting. From this
analysis, researchers extracted new business models by providing affordable personal
development services and developing talent compatibility technologies for job
seekers and companies, with social media engagement, partnering with Talents
Mapping practitioners and institutions, and collaborating with industries that
targeting similar segments |
