Housing Ministry in cooperation with Bandung government want to revitalize Kampong Pulosari by develop social housing so settlements are arranged vertically and people can live in good spaces. Area of this social housing project wil be divided into several parts that is residential area, facility area, open space area, and environmental infrastructure area. Residential part consist of three types of social housing unit that is 24, 30, and 36 m2. Public fasilities that designed are mosque, multi-purpose building, government offices, health center and clinics, and kindergarten. Project area is divided into three zones, residential zone 1, facility zone, and residential zone 2. Facility zone as a connector between two residential zones and as area of transition between social housing area and its neighbourhood outside. Residential building designed alternating with open spaces to maximize natural lighting and aeration. This open space also can be used as a place where people do their social, economy, and cultural activity. Residential building uses single loaded corridor system and has an additional connection so it is always connected with other buildings. Residential building also has a common room on the gorund floor which can also serve as a place to park their motorcycles and their carts.
