The advantage of heterogenic fenton catalyst where it can be used in wide range of pH and continuously is one point that make research in this field keep improving. The using of bacterial cellulose as a template can increase catalytic activity of fenton. This thing can be proved with measurement using Ultra Violet Visible Spectroscopy characterization. From previous research, it has been reported that heterogenic fenton catalyst with bacterial cellulose as template successfully synthesized. In this research we will make some optimization to the heterogenic fenton catalyst. Optimization will be done by using various concentration of NaOH, which are 0.01 M, 0.1 M, 1 M, and 4 M. Furthermore, there will be tests to know the effect of lamp light towards catalytic activity and to know reuse ability of the catalyst. Firstly, wash bacterial cellulose using demineralized water and then soak it in precursor solution. After that, samples are soaked in NaOH solution according to the variation before. After finish all the step the freeze dry it. From the result we can get that sample which was made by using 4 M NaOH have the best catalytic activity. Aside from that, we also know that lamp light can increase catalytic activity, while the ability of catalyst to degrade pollution after five cycle only 17.87% of the initial ability. text
