Description
Summary:One dimensional model of coastline change is used and can simulate coastline change and alongshore transport on Nusa Dua Beach Bali. The model is simulated for observing the change caused by waves and the effect from groyne. From ERMS calculation, shoreline simulation for year 2006 has an absolute error up to 2.1 meter and for year 2007, shoreline simualtion has an absolute error up to 1.37 meter, with most of the error located on G4-G1. The average coastline change hapenend on 2005-2006 is 1.9 m. The biggest coastline change happened on 2005-2006 is -7.1 m The average coastline change hapenend on 2006-2007 is 0.97 m. The biggest coastline change happened on 2006-2007 is -3.7 m Double groyne has a very specific equilibrium form with eroded part on one side and acretted part on the other side. Coastal stability for modelled coastline is calculated at year 2029.
