FeAl is a material known for high-temperature oxidation resistance, cheap to produce, high strength although it has low ductility. The effect of molybdenum and yttrium doping was studied with its relations to cyclic oxidation of FeAl. Fe-22 wt% Al was made with four variations of dopant composition: 0,1 wt% Y, 0,1 wt% Y + 2 wt% Mo, dan 4 wt% Mo FeAl were processed using Electric Arc Furnace (EAF). The cyclic oxidation test was done at 1100 oC for 1 hour and at room temperature for 30 minutes at air environment. X-Ray Diffraction used to detect the phase of the sampels. EDS and OES was used to determine the composition of samples. Metallography was used to determine the porosity using image analysis. The result of cyclic oxidation shows for Fe-22Al with stand up to 4 cyclic, Fe-22Al-0,1Y with stand up to 3 cyclic, Fe-22Al-0,1Y with stand up to 16 cyclic, dan Fe-22Al-4Mo with stand up to 26 cyclic. The results of thermal shock resistance shows that FeAl with all variant composition have a good thermal shock resistance. For all samples there was no crack and spalling after thermal shock. In this experiment, doping affects more to cyclic oxidation resistance because, its affect the protective layer that can make a better cyclic oxidation resistance.
