總結:Studied area is located at Tawaeli-Toboli road, segment 34-39 Km, Donggala District, Central Sulawesi Province with coordinates of 0o 42’ 55.1” S, 119o 57’ 24.5” E to 0o 43’ 25.9” S, 119o 58’ 30.1” E. Morphology of studied area was formed by high hills with steep slopes and prone to erosion. Lithology of studied area consist of schist which belongs to the Pre-Tertiary Metamorphic Rock Complex and granodiorite intrusion. Studied area has steep rock slopes as result from excavation for road widening project. The location of observation of rock slope is divided into five, there are SC-85 (KM 34), SC-87 (KM 34.5), SC-102 (KM 35.9), SC-125 (KM 38.2) and SC-128 (KM 38.5). Physical property test of rocks is obtained weight values of 25.1-26.3 kN/m3 for granodiorite and 25.9-28.7 kN/m3 for schist. Index property test is obtained Schmidt Hammer Value (SHV) of granodiorite 58-62 (190-265 MPa) and schist 21-51 (30-185 MPa), meaning that the existing rocks are moderate to extremely strong rocks. Stability analysis of rock mass slope was done by Rock Mass Rating (RMR), kinematic and Slope Mass Rating (SMR) method. Rock Mass Rating (RMR) classification shows the rock mass category of class II (good rock) at SC-85 and SC-87 while class III (fair rock) at SC-102, SC-125 and SC-128. The kinematic analysis shows pattern of toppling failure type (SC-85, SC-87 and SC-128) and wedge failure type (SC-102 and SC-125). Slope Mass Rating (SMR) classification shows the slope category of class III (partially stable) at SC-85, SC-87, SC-102 and SC-125 and class IV (unstable) at SC-128. Priority handling may be considered based on percentage of Probability of Failure. Suggestion supports to maintain the slope stability are based on SMR classes such as toe ditch, nets, shotcrete, systematic rockbolt or anchor, toe wall and drainage.
