The Tanjung Bunga Makassar Area is an integrated tourism zone and global business area. The area, which is one of the waterfronts of Makassar City, is also a beach directly facing the southern part of the Makassar Strait. Although this is very good for the tourism sector, it is also quite risky to get a tsunami threat from seismic activities in the southern Makassar Strait and the Spreading Center and the fact that there will be increased stress at the ends of active plates around Sulawesi, increasing the potential for submarine earthquakes , which ultimately can cause a tsunami. This raises the question of how the tsunami disaster risk and the area's planning strategy and the need for tsunami disaster-based tourism planning in the tourist area. The method used is the method of qualitative and quantitative description. This study aims to identify tsunami disaster risk and 3A-based tourism planning strategies that are processed as the formulation of tsunami disaster-based tourism planning strategies in The Tanjung Bunga Makassar Area. The results of the study indicate that tsunami disaster risk is high but there is no tourism planning based on disaster management, especially tsunamis at The Tanjung Bunga Makassar Area, so it is important for tsunami disaster-based tourism planning. Therefore, this study presents a tsunami disaster-based strategies planning of tourism planning recommendation in The Tanjung Bunga Makassar Area.
