Description
Summary:GUM field administratively located in South Sumatera Province, encompassing an area of about 130 km2. Geologically, GUM Field is norhwest-southeast trending thrust fault that is located in GUM Structure, South Sumatera Basin. This study focus in Baturaja Formation with carbonate reservoir which are at the depth 960-1040m TVDSS. The research is intended to determine the reservoir model and estimate original hydrocarbon in place of the reservoir. Data used in this study comprise of wireline log of 6 wells, 2D seismic, cutting, and core data. Three methods are used in this research: first method is well data analysis by doing well to well correlation and petrophysical analysis from wireline log data and cutting descriptions; second method is seismic data analysis by depth structure map generation and reservoir geometry determination; third method is reservoir modelling by 3D structure and petrophysical property model generation, fluid contact determination, and original hydrocarbon in place estimation Result of those methods are geological condition and original hydrocarbon in place of the reservoir interval. Reservoir interval is 5-160m thick of limestone with intercalated shale. Main structure of GUM Field is a northwest-southeast trending thrust faults that formed a flower structure. Depositional facies or the reservoir is isolated carbonate platform with northwest-southeast direction of growth. The original hydrocarbon in place estimation of that reservoir interval are 112BSCF of gas and 21 MMSTB of oil.
