According to the report of Status Lingkungan Hidup Daerah (2011), fluctuating conditions of river and spring discharge is influenced by rainfall. This research was done in order to to estimate the amount of river discharge with FJ Mock method and the dependable flow using Flow Duration Curve in order to estimate the possibility of fulfilled or not the water demand of the community of Kediri regency by the availability of surface water. After that, look for rainfall conditions and some water balance components FJ Mock that occurs at minimum conditions of the dependable flow, so that later can be estimated when the occurrence of lack of water availability. The results of this study indicate that the value of dependable flow based on month of Brantas Drainage Basin to Mojoroto is influenced by the precipitation of the current month and the two months earlier, the evapotranspiration of the current month, the change of ground water storage from the previous month to the current month. Based on the value of dependable flow based on month with an exceeded probability 93.94%, it can be said that the availability of surface waters of Brantas drainage basin to Mojoroto in general is in accordance with water demand of society in Kediri Regency, except in October, so according to this research there is a crisis of water availability on 5 October in the year 2004-2013. text
