Design and Manufacture of Data Aqcuisition System for Centrifugal Pump Experiment Instalation

Water is an important component in human life for the purpose of consumption, sanitation, even industry. In daily application, the pump was required to move it to higher ground or pressurized level. In order to work as needed, the pump performance through the characteristic curve need to be known. The parameters related to pump performance is the head, power, and efficiency. So that experiment could be performed quickly and accurately, its data acquisition needs to be done digitally. For that purpose, a data acquisition device with sensors installed on the experiment installation has been designed and created. For the system to work, a software that is used in the data acquisition device has been also designed. The device that being used as data acqusition system was Arduino Mega 2560 that has been programmed with the Arduino Software (IDE). As for the data processing, Centrifugal Pump Calculator that have been designed previously.is used After all devices has been installed and the experiment was performed, the characteristic curves showing the performance of the pump on experiment installation has been aqcuired
