However, there is an issue in the development of oil palm plantations due to oil palm leaf- eating pest which is commonly known as nettle caterpillar. It is widely known that to control the nettle caterpillar population is to bring in some predators or parasites of nettle caterpillar as well as capture and manually catch. In this thesis, population dynamics of nettle caterpillar can be modelled mathematically using the dierential equations. Some simulations have been conducted using parameters of assumption (based on the plantations condition) and estimation in dierential equation through the triangular function. The parameters serve as a transition probability from one state to another. The simulation results showed that there were four equilibrium points, three of them did not eligible of organisms stability ( 0). From that one stable point was obtained the relationship between the nettle caterpillar and leaves population inversely. The process of photosynthesis is aected by the number of leaves (the fewer leaves so do nutrition limited) hence the productions of palm oil are decreased. This results can be utilized as Early Warning System for dangerous stage of nettle caterpillar population. Through this application of aforementioned mathematical equation, the control of nettle caterpillar pests can be carried out eectively and eciently to minimize cost, energy, and time along with increasing productivity of fruit brunches. text |

Oil palm come to be the main raw material in biodiesel processing for a primary

there is an issue in the development of oil palm plantations due to oil palm leaf-
