Description
Summary:Partial differential equations with time delay arise in many areas of mathematics. Many phenomenas naturally depend not only on the present state but also on some past occurrences. Partial differential equation with time delay will be solved by semigroup approach. In this thesis, we will discuss the stability of partial differential equation with time delay by the stability of corresponding semigroup. Semigroup theory, delay equation, spectral mapping theorem, and critical spectrum are required to solve this problem. This thesis is a literature study for investigating the stability of partial differential equation with time delay via spectral properties.
