Summary:In this thesis, a model of noise transmission from propeller into the aircraft cabin is constructed. Noise transmission phenomenon is then considered as an acoustic wave problem. The model is intended to describe the suppress of noise due to the aircraft wall. Simulations show how acoustic wave propagates from propeller toward the cabin. The noise which transmit into the cabin will be damped by aircraft wall. The maximum amplitude of acoustic wave propagates in the cabin is very important indicator of the aircraft wall quality. Genetic algorithm(GA) optimization method is used to nd optimum value of absorption coecient of aircraft wall to produce amplitude very close to the maximum expected amplitude in cabin. .
