Summary: | Indonesia's Information and Communication Technology Development Index (IP-TIK) is still relatively low compared to several neighboring countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. The government through the Ministry of Communication and Informatics designed a plan to develop Communication Information Technology (ICT). This is also supported by the development of internet users, smartphone users and e-commerce activities. So that the need for Data Centers will continue to increase in Indonesia. PT Andalan Teknologi Mandiri has the opportunity to increase its revenue through new products from the Data Center, the Micro Data Center. There are several Micro Data Center competitors that must be faced by PT Andalan Teknologi Mandiri. The challenge for PT Andalan Teknologi Mandiri is how to compete with competitors to obtain maximum revenue through the innovation of Micro Data Center.
The objective of this research is to identify the business problems faced by PT Andalan Teknologi Mandiri internally and externally, and the ultimate goal is to develop a strategy (Corporate Level, Business Level and Functional Level) that can be implemented by PT Andalan Teknologi Mandiri. The external environment is carried out with several analytical methods, namely PEST Analysis, Industry Analysis, Competitor Analysis. While the internal environment analysis is carried out by several methods as well, namely Resource Analysis, Capability Analysis, Core Competence Analysis, and Value Chain Analysis.
The results of environmental analysis show that PT Andalan Teknologi Mandiri has a promising Micro Data Center market. PT Andalan Teknologi Mandiri must use the Related Constrained Diversification Strategy as a Corporate Level Strategy to increase company value. PT Andalan Teknologi Mandiri should use the Focused Differentiation strategy as a Business Level Strategy to increase the value added compared to competitors. While the Functional Level Strategy in the field of Marketing, focused on Micro Data Center product customization and also increased brand awareness; For the operating strategy, it is focused on the projection of supply and demand from the Micro Data Center product itself; For the R & D strategy, it is focused on R & D of Micro Data Center supporting products, namely Data Center Infrastructure Management Mobile Software; The last is the financial strategy, focused on Project Cost Management.
Implementation of the strategy is carried out within a period of up to five months. With the implementation of this strategy, it is expected that PT Andalan Teknologi Mandiri can increase revenue and also be able to compete with competitors.
