PT. WOODKA Kreasi Muda Bangsa or well-known as WOODKA watch is the pioneer of the wooden watch with interchangeable straps in Indonesia. The signature product of WOODKA watch is the wooden timepiece with a rounded shape. In its operation division, the company has a lot of product that needs to be stored in the inventory. Inventory management of the timepiece becomes one of the key indicators in measuring the company’s performance in operation. The key indicator is that the timepiece should not be out of stock and over stock. It is set to prevent the production process disruption so that the process runs efficiently. WOODKA experience inventory problems of the timepiece is often, especially in several best-selling products: Loca Sonokeling(42mm), and Loca Maple (36mm). Sometimes they experience overstock and sometimes out of stock. The root cause of the problem consists of three things; There is no inventory control method, there is no forecast method, the company does not know how long the inventory is sufficient before it runs out, and depend only on a single supplier. Therefore, this study aims to solve these problems by analyzing inventory control methods and appropriate usage forecasting techniques. Based on this research, linear trend technique is the most appropriate usage forecasting technique to be implement in WOODKA. The inventory control method of timepiece using Fixed Order Quantity resulted in lower inventory cost than the existing method. Inventory cost of timepiece Loca Sonokeling (42mm) in 2018 (Jan-Okt) is 9.798.000 IDR and if applying Fix Order Quantity then the inventory cost is only 6.635.000 IDR and using fixed time period is 10.836.000 IDR. Inventory cost of Loca Maple (36mm) in 2018 (Jan-Okt) in 2018 is 10.111.000 and if applying Fixed order quantity then the inventory cost is 6.878.000 and if using Fixed Time period then the inventory cost will be 13.023..000 IDR.
