Transportation take one the biggest slice of pies which is 49%. Nowadays, the development of car technology have been carried out in order to increase the fuel economy including implenting alternative fuel such as bioethanol on the convensional car engine. This test is conducted to observe the influence of using blended gasolineethanol up to 10% volume on the gas exhaust emission and fuel consumption of Honda Civic hybrid car. The test was run in the laboratorium environment belong to Balai Termodinamika dan Motor Propulsi (BTMP) based on ECE Regulation 83 and ECE Regulation 101. Result shows that CO and HC emisssion produce by blended fuel are lower by 6.6% and 27.8% and increasing by 57.7% for NOx emission. Also there is slightly decrease in average fuel consumption by 2.4% using gasoline-ethanol fuel. text
