Summary: | Metrokapsul is a Light Rail Transit-type Transportation which moves on concrete track. Metrokapsul has 4 distinct distance sensor for measuring distance between Metrokapsul units. Measurement result of those 4 distance sensor is processed by a Data Processing System using Data Fusion Method. The usage of Data Fusion has a function to detect the status of each sensor. There are two statuses of sensors, those are "HEALTHY" and "FAILED". Sensor status is determined by comparing the value of each sensor. The “HEALTHY” status will be achieved if at least there is one other sensor that has the same value. The number of sensors with “HEALTHY” status determines the status of The Measurement System of Metrokapsul. There are 4 statuses for The Measurement System, those are: “NORMAL”, “LOW WARNING”, “HIGH WARNING”, and “EMERGENCY”. Among the “HEALTHY” sensors, The Data Processing System also has function to determine the reference sensor for The Distance Control System of Metrokapsul. The choice is based on error average value and standard deviation of each sensor in calibration process. Based on the experiment, it can be concluded that the algorithm that has been designed is succeeded to apply to the testing tools. Furthermore, the average error values of each sensor are Sensor Pepperl Fuchs (0.1 cm), Sensor LRF (0.61 cm), Sensor Pixy (0.64 cm), and Sensor HCSR (0.74 cm). |
