The image log data display maximum horizontal stress direction from the northeast – southwest. The pseudo three dimensions (P3D) model is chosen to model fracture dimension and propagation. Hydraulic fractures tend to grow vertically as an implication of the normal fault regime. Mechanical character of T-2 interval is different from the adjacent interval. Hydraulic fracture of Telisa T-2 interval has a potential to break the adjacent interval because the thickness of T-2 interval is only about 20 ft. The thin formation will increase net pressure during hydraulic fracturing analysis. Stress regime controls the direction of fracture propagation. Mechanical properties affect fracture dimension significantly. text
