That is the background of this research. The site area is within the Research Center for Science and Technology, Pupiptek area, Serpong, with the geographical coordinates 6o21’12.024” - 6o21’21.184” latitude and 106o39’29.0425” - 106o39’43.9804” longitude. Administratively, the site area is in the Setu Village, Serpong District, South Tangerang City, Banten Province. Liquefaction may occur because of earthquake that causing sedimentary deposit loss its strength. Liquefaction potential analysis is done based on Standard Penetration Test (SPT) data in the site area, including susceptibility rate and triggering factors. From the analysis, it is known that the site area has two facies: marsh clays facies and fluvial sands facies. This site area has low susceptibility rating factor for liquefaction with SRF value of 0.17 – 3.21. Susceptibility analysis of each depth sedimentary deposit based on grain size distribution shows that the site area has potentially liquafable to most liquafable zone. Comparison of Cyclic Resistance Ratio (CRR) to Cyclic Stress Ratio (CSR) shows that the site area has the possibility of liquefaction because the value of safety factor from liquefaction (FSL) is less than 1 with low to moderate liquefaction potential level text
