Due to the limitation on availability of the certified reference material (CRMs) and high cost production of in-house reference materials of mung bean flour, one of the best alternative that being used to control the quality of the product in daily laboratory works was using the reference materials (RMs). Analytical method that used in this research is included homogeneity using F-test, stability using T-test, detection limit, linearity and precision using %RSD number. Gravimetric was used to determine moisture content, ash content and silicate content. Based on the results of the test, the overall moisture of the dry weight was 5.3% (%RSD = 3,4), the overall moisture of the wet weight was 5,1% (%RSD = 3,3), the overall ash content was 2,9% (%RSD = 5,6), and the overall silicate content was 0,3% (%RSD = 67,9). Metal contents of mung bean were: 86,0 mg/kg of Fe, 18,1 mg/kg of Cu, 274,0 mg/kg of Ca, 1196,1 mg/kg of Mg, and 7,7 mg/kg of Zn. The homogeneity and stability test of mung bean showed homogeneity and stability behavior so that it was suitable and valid to be chosen as reference material. text |
