Description
Summary:Lead can be contained both in human activities waste, water and in certain food. The amount of lead can damage humankind health and can also be dangerous for plants and animals. Generally, lead which is contained in water is in the small amount of concentration. Therefore, to analyze the small amount of lead in water needs to use flow injection analysis method in which detector that being used is spectrophotometer UV-vis. The maximum wavelength that is used in flow injection method is 600 nm. Lead analysis may also disturb environment due to the remaining of the substances of the analysis. Therefore the flow injection method being used is cyclic flow injection analysis method. The principle of this analysis is that lead will react with arsenazo (III) in the detector and arsenazo (III) going back to the reservoir and arsenazo(III) can be reused. The result of this method provides linearity in the concentration 2-8 mg L-1 with a coefficient of variance of 2.6% and limit of detection of 2.07 mg L-1. Analysis of this interaction also produces percent recovery of 100.55%
