VALUE DETERMINANT FACTORS FOR SHARIA HOUSING PRODUCT PRICE IN GREATER BANDUNG AREA

The aim of this study is to define the sharia housing product and to find the factors which affect people to buy it. This research also tries to define the sharia housing products from the perspective of real estate developers in Greater Bandung Area. We try to dig deeper whether the housing made by these developers is by the real understanding of sharia housing or not, we also try to find out what is still missing and what has been running well in practice. 469 respondents was surveyed with various demographic backgrounds. This study is using Content Analysis, Descriptive Analysis, and Statistical Analysis. The findings of this study suggested that consumers have grasped the thoughts of sharia housing idea. The results of the invterview also show that Sharia housing in Bandung is not very focused on the design of sharia building in private residential, but rather to provide sharia facilities for public use and other Islamic activities in their neighborhood. This research would be useful for property developers, consumers, and also other parties like academicians and government.
