Not every area has the source of water that can be used for daily domestic necessities. Some caused by the lack of water sources. And other areas may cause by the high polluted water sources. Kecamatan Dayeuhkolot is one of Kabupaten Bandung’s region that does not have water treatment plant yet. Meanwhile there are many manufacturings located in this region which can increase the necessities of clean water. Consequently, it is intended to design a water treatment plant to provide the Kecamatan Dayeuhkolot needs. Point that differs the desired plant with others that already exist at Kabupaten and Kotamadya Bandung is the method of obtaining water that will be treated. In Kecamatan Dayeuhkolot, it is considered water will be obtained from the PDAM Kotamadya Bandung transmission pipe, that intersects the region. Hence, there will be no intake in the designed plant. But, to gain the water as much as required, it is necessary to calculate head on the source point.
