Tsai-Hill , Hoffman and Maximum stress failure criteria model are studied. In order to achieve the most accurate predictions, the influence of failure criteria and property degradation rules are investigated. Failure modes of the composites model are compared with the same experimental test results from specimen of Indonesian Aerospace. A good agreement between experimental results and numerical predictions was observed. The average maximum load of every configuration is as follow : UD-8176 (00, +450, 900,-450, 900 , +450, 00)s sebesar 6543.49 kgf UD-8178 (00, +450, 900,-450, +450 , 900, -450, 00 )s sebesar 6854.42 kgf Fabric-8276 (00/900, ±450, ±450, 900/00 , ±450, 00/900 )s sebesar 6653.60 kgf Fabric (00/900, ±450, ±450, 900/00 ) s sebesar 4283.26 kgf There are discrepancy between experimental and theoretical failure on the composite configuration UD-8176, UD-8178, Fabric-8276, Fabric-8278 .
