This has an impact on the utilization of pirazolons compound and their derivates for the separation of REEs by solvent extraction. Two compounds of pyrazolone derivates namely 4-sebakoilbis(1-fenil-3metil-5-pirazolon) (H2SbBP) and 4-adipoilbis(1-fenil-3metil-5-pirazolon) (H2AdBP) have been synthesizen. H2SbBP is a yellow compound and its melting point is 127,8 - 132ºC meanwhile H2AdBP is a yellow – brown compound with melting point of 190,3ºC-197,6ºC. Both of these compounds have a very good solubility in chloroform. The best H2SbBP concentration in the extraction of La(III) is between 0,0007 M – 0,0050 M, while the best H2AdBP concentration is between 0,0108 M – 0,0151 M. The best pH value in the extraction of La(III) with H2AdBP on pH between 5 - 6, while H2SbBP performance increases with increasing pH. The highest value of separation factor (?) between Gd(III) obtained when H2SbBP was extraction with pH 6,2. text |
