The wider of barriers that must be overcome is, the longer dimension of the brigde that needed. A bridge that is planned to be built should be able to bear the traffic loading safely and conveniently. The type of bridge structure used in this Final Project is steel truss bridge with warren truss configuration. This bridge will be used as railway bridge on Double Track of Southern Railway Line. The bridgde will be built next to the existing bridge, with same span, width, and height, that is 100 meter span, 5,4 meter width, and 15 meter (maximum) height. The method of design are modeling the bridge structure using SAP2000 software with BJ-55 quality of steel material, then bridge loading with Indonesian Railway Technical Standard for Steel Bridge Structure 2006 as refferences. Next, do the structure analysis with critical load combination, to get the demand force in each structure element, so the structure element profile could be designed. As the structure element profile designed, the structure deformation on serviceability loading should be checked to allowable deformation referred to the standard. Then, bolted connection designed using axial capaicty of the element connected as demand force. And the last, abutment design using bridge bearings reaction forces, and pile foundation design using soil condition and reaction forces on abutment bottom. From this design, structure element profile dimension, bolt number and gusset plate thickness requirements, dimension and reinforcement required of abutment, and piles number, type, configuration, and pile driving depth should be obtained. text
