Summary: | The emergence of the free market era brings the impact of intense competition on business so that this condition spurs the organization to be more concerned about the strategy undertaken. Organizational strategies created to survive environmental change and organizational strategy must be able to create competitive advantage. Nowadays in the world of competition, knowledge management strategy becomes one of the main tools for organizations to achieve their goals and to compete well. A study states that, the application of knowledge management practices in improving organizational performance shows that the level of knowledge management practice is important criteria for determining and improving organizational performance. Based on the phenomenon, this study aims to determine aspect on knowledge management that have significant impact to innovation and prove that innovation have an impact to company performance. This result will lead to formulate a proper implementation plan for knowledge management and innovation in PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia International toward company performance. This research uses quantitative approach by using SEM-PLS analysis. This study uses primary data by collecting data using questionnaires and secondary data from observation and references. Respondents of this study as many as 53 employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia International. The results of this study show that Knowledge Management Storage and Knowledge Management Application have positive and significant impact on Innovation, with all aspect Knowledge management give effect 90.1% against Innovation. Innovation itself positively and significantly influence the Company Performance, where innovation gives an effect of 88.9% of company performance. From this research, business implication that company should do is to more focus to implement these 2 important aspects of Knowledge Management and integrated this into company culture. With good Knowledge Management will contribute more new innovation into business process, and service development. Telin management must continue to support and improves the applied innovation practice that appropriate and acceptable very well by customers and employees. This Innovation will have an impact to company performance in order to face the tight competition in telecommunication industry. |
