PROPOSED BUSINESS STRATEGY FOR TOWER BERSAMA INFRASTRUCTURE GROUP

PT. Tower Bersama Infrastructure Group, Tbk. is a tower telecommunication provider company that leases tower to mobile network operators in Indonesia. Competition in the telecommunications industry is not an easy thing. Therefore, the company needs a growth strategy. In order to grasp the better understanding the situation of the company, we need to do internal and external environment analysis. External analysis is conducted using PESTLE Analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, and Competitive Map. While internal analysis is conducted using Value Chain Analysis, VRIO Analysis, and Marketing Mix. The results of the analysis collaborated with Strategy Diamond Model are used to formulate business strategy, and business model development is in accordance to Business Model Canvas. The result of the study indicates that operators need to more focus on their core competencies, and casts lose their load of cost. In a response to that, the company should expand their scope of work unto active infrastructure, and develop competencies of that.
