Summary: | The power saver system for households that is designed is a smart home system in which household electronic devices inside can be controlled remotely via mobile device. In addition, these devices can also be turned off automatically if they are not used by users and can also be scheduled to turn on or off. This system is of course supported by hardware in the form of controller, electric plugs, and sensors and software in the form of database server and user interface application.
The database server in this system is used to store data and all configurations of the smart home system. This server will be connected to a controller that will manage devices in the household via internet. The server is also connected to the user with an Android-based application via internet. User gives the desired input or command and delivers it to the server through this Android application. Through the Android application, user can add electronic devices, control the device’s on or off, and analyse the power consumption of electronic devices. Communication between the Android application and the database server used in this system is HTTP. |
