Description
Summary:Ozone is a secondary pollutant formed through photochemical processes involving pollutants as precursors and sun radiation . Ozone can give negative effect to health and plant. Based on some researchs in several area, the value of observed ozone concentrations often exceeded the threshold. Multivariate statistical methods can predict the concentration of ozone in the troposphere as a function of precursor concentration and meteorological parameters. CH4, CO, NMHC, NO, NO2, THC, SO2, wind direction and speed, temperature, solar radiation and air humidity were monitored every 30 minutes can be used to estimate the value of the ozone concentration at t +1. The used data is the monitoring data during 2011 - 2012 in Jakarta. The relationship between all variabel with ozone indicated by bivariate correlation analysis. Solar radiation and temperature showed a positive relationship but humidity, wind speed and direction are not. Temperature that has a positive relationship to the largest concentration of ozone is 0.5125 for Thamrin station and 0.719 for Jagakarsa station. While CH4, NMHC, NO, NO2, ozone, while negatively related to THC and SO2 showed a positive relationship. Multiple linear regression is used to model the concentration of ozone. Adjusted R2 value of 0.4633 and 0.5388 generated taking into account all the parameters of the Thamrin and Jagakarsa. Based on Adjusted R2 value so all predictors that can describe ozon consentration are 46,32% and 53,88% for Thamrin and Jagakarsa, respectively.
