The 25, 50, and 75-year return values of extreme ???????? with the AM method have the highest values in the open ocean and the north part of Australia with values around 8 m, about 2 m in protected areas like Padang and NTT, and 4 m in Mentawai, Nias, and south part of Java. The 25, 50, and 75-year return values of extreme ???????? with POT method are around 8 m in the open ocean, 2 m in protected areas, 5 m in Mentawai, Nias, and the south part of Java, and 5 m in the north part of Australia. In general, POT method gives higher value of return value than AM method does for return periods lower than 10 years. text
