Description
Summary:The mechanical properties of composite materials are subjected to statistical analysis. This study aims to determine the value of B-Basis strength parameters of carbon composite material with UD-0° fiber, UD-90°, fabric-0°, fabric-90° from the results of tensile test and press test. The maximum normed residual test is used for outlier identification and anderson darling k-sample test to determine whether parameters can be processed as one large group of data. The scope of this study focused on evaluating B-Basis values using the 2 methods: Weibull and ANOVA. The results of data processing using the first methods of Weibull distribution with the regression method that the reliability value at 95% is sufficient or represents 90% of the existing data population. While the secomd method of Weibull distribution with the MLE method obtained B-Basis values for all specimen tests that were sufficient or represented 90% of the population of existing data with a confidence level of 95% (? = 0.05). However, it is different from the ANOVA method that shows a negative B-Basis value on the tensile strength of UD 0° with a non-tabbing treatment of 1.75 MPa although outliers were not detected because the data in UD 0° non tabbing treatment did not look homogeneous.
