work achieved by an employee in carrying out tasks in accordance with the responsibilities
assigned to him. Employees are important resources for the company, because they have the
talent, energy and creativity that are needed by the organization to achieve its goals.
Employees are key determinants of company success. In producing optimal performance,
work discipline is needed so that organizational goals can be achieved. Employees with high
enthusiasm feel that they are included in the goals of the organization that deserve attention
and that their business ventures are known and valued.
PT. Dirgantara Indonesia is one of the leading companies in Indonesia. And very interested
in maintaining the company's long-term performance. One indication of good company
performance is the performance of company employees of PT. Dirgantara Indonesia. Final
Assembly Line and Delivery center Division is one (1) of the seven (7) divisions in the
Production directorate which is responsible for completing the final product up to delivery.
The aim of the research is to find out "The Influence of Organizational Culture and
Motivation on Work Discipline and the Implications for Employee Performance" so that the
company's target can be achieved.
This research is to use saturated sampling, because the study sample is more than 100 people.
Thus, the sample used was 112 employees from 120 employees.
Based on the analysis, the root cause of this research is because of Poor Working Culture and
Lack of Motivation of the employees. Therefore improvement of Working Culture and
Employee Motivation, and its implementation shall be performed in order to achieve the
company target.
Base on The analysis the result as below :
- The Organizational Culture has a positive and significant effect on Work Discipline at
PT. Dirgantara Indonesia, which means that the better Organizational Culture is
supported Motivation possessed by employees will have an impact on the better Work
Discipline as well.
- The Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Work Discipline at PT.
Dirgantara Indonesia, which means that the better the motivation given by employees
will directly affect the work discipline that is getting better too.
- The Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at
PT. Dirgantara Indonesia, which means that the better the Work Discipline given by
employees will directly affect the Employee Performance which is getting better too.
Implementation Plan activities that need to be carried out in the framework of cultural
implementation and motivation include the establishment of a Cultural Change Team,
conducting Motivation and Workshop Training, and the implementation of a Reward and
Punishment system. Therefore, it is necessary to make a timeline schedule.
