Summary: | In the process of going to be a developed countries, Indonesia's energy
needs are increasing. The emergence of new problems in the energy sector
requires Indonesia to evolve and find solutions to overcome problems in the
energy sector. Energy planning is a real solution to solving problems in the energy
sector as well as anticipating new problems. Energy planning includes the
projection of demand and supply of energy accordingly. Some of the factors that
influence energy planning are Indonesia's economic growth, population size,
GDP, also electricity generation, power plants, and policy. This study uses the
assumptions of internal and external factors that have been determined then
process them in LEAP software in projecting energy supply in Indonesia.
Projections are carried out from 2015 to 2030. There are two scenarios used,
namely BaU (baseline) and EBT-Fosil, which is a scenario assuming the new and
renewable energy reaches 23% proportion in accordance with the RUEN by
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The new and renewable target energy
reach 16% in the BaU scenario and 24,14% in the EBT-Fosil scenario. |
