Summary: | Solid waste and septic tank sludge are a problem that needs attention because both of them are included in the basic sanitation. Increasing the amount of waste generation and waste water in Bandung City still not in line with proper handling, therefore problems of solid waste and septic tank sludge in Bandung City still not handled properly. Yet, the 3R implementation potential for solid waste and septic tank sludge to become biogas as one is large enough. Therefore, system evaluation on the management of solid waste and septic tank sludge in Bandung City needs to be done. This research was conducted by developassessment criteria for TPS and 3R activity by using delphi technique method, which is depended on experts point of view. Based on delphi technique method, assessment criteria are implemented in study area and it is known that transfer depot in Bandung City has a good value in terms of accessibility and availability of land but has a bad value related to social conflict and prediction to succeed and develop, solid waste sorting at source is still rare, solid waste collection has not been adjusted with transportation schedule or type of waste, 3R implementation of solid waste has been done but still not significant, and 3R implementation of septic tank sludge has been no running. There are often some obstacles in terms of operation and maintenance on the solid waste and septic tank sludge handling. So, there is need for integration of institutions, technoogy and public participation aspect by reviewing each components of the system of solid waste and septic tank sludge and also the conherence among components. |
