Activity of treatment electronic waste (e-waste) in home industry is one of the dangerous activity because it does not pay attention to the environmental aspects and health. From treatment of electronic waste which is using the combustion process, one negative effect of them on lung health, in a fairly long period of time because it can lower one's lung capacity . This research was conducted in area the treatment of electronic waste (e-waste) which is illegal , in the Subdistrict Panjunan , District Astana Anyar, Bandung.with cross sectional research methods. The purpose of this study is to look at the risk of the public from treatment e-waste, especially from elementary school -aged children around the processing of electronic waste ( e-waste) illegal. The number of respondents surveyed in the area of electronic waste (e-waste) is illegal as many as 82 people from grades 3-6 and are in the age range 9-14 years. FEV1.0 measurements conducted to determine the effect of dust generated from the combustion process electronic waste (e-waste) in the lung capacity of children men and women. Conditions of lung capacity measured by spirometry Minato AS-500 is the average value of FEV1.0, FVC and the ratio FEV1.0/FVC. FEV1.0 and FVC values in the exposed samples is always lower than the may be exposed sample and unexposed sample. For the classification of impaired lung function in a sample exposed many which is have interference: medium obstruction & mild restruction.
