Description
Summary:The main system in this design is a smarthome system that can check household appliances status and energy consumption. It also can deactivates unused electronic appliances by using manual schedule inputted by the user or by using sensors to automatically detects which appliance needs to be turned off. To do this the system used a main controller to process input from user and sensors, and actuators to turns on/off electronic appliances in a household. In this writing a main controller dan an infrared controller will be designed to fulfill the system’s need of processing inputs and outputting instruction to household appliance that uses infrared protocol. Those two will communicate via Wi-FI using MQTT protocol as a main way to send and receive message. Test datas will be presented to show that this design can fulfill the main system need of processing inputs for automatic deactivation and controlling appliances that use infrared protocol.
