PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN PREPARATION OF ONBOARDING INFORMATION SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION AT PT TOKOPEDIA

This study focused on the design of project management for preparation preimplementation of the Onboarding information system in one of the largest ecommerce sites in Indonesia, Tokopedia, especially on the Official Store business line. Official Store is a business-to-consumer (B2C) marketplace line at PT Tokopedia which displays official brand stores, official sellers, and web stores that have an exclusive brand value proposition, system integration, and after-sales customer service support. Onboarding information system is a system that aims to improve the acquisition process at the Official Store. The purpose of this study is to design GOLIVE preparation based on the literature of project management and change management in the implementation phase of the Onboarding system and implement the design to produce evaluation and feedback based on time performance criteria, system performance, and points coverage in change management. This research methodology consists of the implementation design phase, implementation and data collection phase, the evaluation design phase, the analysis phase, and conclusions and suggestions. The main methods used in this study are the GO-LIVE checklist (Gefen & Abujudeh, 2017), hybrid project management, Lewin's change management model, and the change management roadmap (Legris & Collerette, 2006). Based on data collection and processing, this study produces details of GO-LIVE preparation activities, project Gantt charts, and change management roadmap checklists which are recommended to be conducted in the preparation of information systems implementation in today’s e-commerce, as well as evaluation and feedback based on the implementation of the design which has been done at PT Tokopedia.
